Lately

We had a small Christmas celebration this year. Just my mom, step dad and grandparents. Husband's parents came over for dessert on Christmas, since we had already opened presents with them a few days before.

I had a pretty red Christmas dress to put M in but my mom got her dressed that morning and chose this blue dress. Pretty, but not holiday..oh well.

Tuesday I went to my 12 week OB appointment and heard the heartbeat. I was very anxious to go to the appointment because I have been feeling way too good to be true. Freakishly good. Sure, food doesn't always sound appealing, but other than that, no symptoms. I am actually 13 weeks today, so things are speeding right along.

It's been cold here the past few nights and actually freezing. I have been covering all my tropical plants. Of course last night it wasn't supposed to freeze and I didn't cover anything and this morning was the only one from the past few days with frost. GRR. All that work and they froze anyway. It probably sounds funny to cover up plants, but that's what people do here. Especially since it may only freeze 10 days total all winter.
